Soraya - Newborn {Photography by Danelle Empey}

Meet Soraya.  She is as sweet as sugar.  The only sad part about photographing her is knowing that her mom, my dear friend, is moving far away.  Why have so many of my sessions been with friends that are moving?!?  Is anyone staying here?  I guess that is just what happens when you live in such a transient place like Washington, DC.

Smallwood Family - Washington DC {Photographs by Danelle Empey}

This session was a little bitter sweet for me.  I have been photographing the Smallwoods since Karissa was pregnant with Lily.  Now they are moving far away and I won't be their photographer any more.  I have always enjoyed our sessions, they are such a beautiful family.
