Years ago, when I was first establishing myself out here in Virginia as a photographer I had the chance to photograph the Christensen Family.  Emma, the oldest was a toddler and Ben was barely crawling.  Now Paige is part of their adorable family.  Wow, time really flies!

Earnest Family - Photographs by Danelle Empey

Such a cute family!  This is the second time I have gotten to photograph this group.  I love their daughter, she is so spunky.  Last time I photographed them, their son was only a few weeks old.  Now he's a little mover and so handsome.  We had a lot of fun and got some great shots.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Martin Boys - Photographs by Danelle Empey

I'm happy I got a chance to photograph this cute family.  Janna is a friend of mine and her little boy, Mack, and my daughter Z are playmates.  I loved seeing all their crazy personalities.  Boys are so much fun to photograph!

The funniest part was the tourists that took pictures of them too.  I'm pretty sure they thought Cory or Janna must be someone important who works on The Hill!

Jordan and Lizzie - Photographs by Danelle Empey

Jordan and Lizzie have been friends their whole life.  They wanted to have their pictures taken together because they have turned 8 and they wanted to remember this important time in their life.  Lizzie and Jordan go to my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  At eight years old they can choose to be baptized as members of the church.  Both of them have chosen to be baptized on the same day.  Congratulations, Lizzie and Jordan!

I enjoyed photographing this fun little family.  I have photographed their youngest before so it was nice to get to photograph the whole family this time.  Cute girls with lots of personality.  Everyone was a good sport even though it was a bit of a chilly morning wih a few raindrops.

Hat Model (My Daughter!) - Photography by Danelle Empey

My very talented friend Jen (of Classy Crochet on Etsy) asked me if I would mind photographing some more of her hats and having my daughter Z model for them.  Would I mind!?!  Not when the hats are this cute.  And of course Z is ADORABLE!  She is cooperating more on photo sessions than in the past.  I had to bribe her with chocolate though...but she is my daughter after all!

Baby Claire - Photographs by Danelle Empey

Baby Claire is only 4 months old and super cute (and super chubby!) I had fun photographing her.  Her bright blue eyes are stunning and even though she didn't give us tons of smiles, she gave a lot of great expressions.  I really enjoyed this session.
