Lucas and Norah

I love this family.  Little boys don't come much cuter than this one!  Curly, golden hair and hazel eyes.  He is going to break some hearts some day.  And little Norah with her pouty lips and big blue eyes.  She's a charmer.  It rained on us the whole time we did the session, which we did in record time!  For such a quick session, we got some fun images.  Thanks for being such a good sport Katie!  I had fun.

Earnest Family

Introducing baby boy Grant and his big sister Kennedy.  Grant slept pretty much the entire session, of course he is only a few weeks old, so that makes sense.  He seemed so gentle and peaceful.  On the other hand, Kennedy made up for it with all her energy.  She is quirky, energetic, spirited, lively, adorable, and I got one of my favorite fall photos ever from her.  Those beautiful brown eyes with her red hair lying in the leaves is so beautiful.  Michelle and Ben, you have an adorable family.

Bowen Family

Big brown eyes on little boys are adorable!  And I love that this one carried his teddy bear throughout the entire session, as if it was a part of the family.  I guess in some ways it probably is.  What a cutie!

Cutler Family

I have photographed this little cutie a couple of times now.  Once as a little 8 week old, and again at 8 months.  Now here he is getting so big and running everywhere!  He and his parents moved to Deleware this last year, but on a trip back to D.C. to see friends they made time to get some family pictures taken.  I am so glad they did.  It was fun to see them again and see how grown up he is.

Gillan Family

Old Town in the Fall is beautiful.  And the Gillan family is too!  Such different personalities from the kids.  Alyssa wanted to be in front of the camera the whole time and smiled beautifully for me.  She is full of spunk!  Sean wanted to play and make faces!  So I let him.  I really think that my job as a photographer is to capture people as they are.  Especially children.

Another Crazy Reid Photo

 This is my sister and her family.  They are all so cute!  Every year we have to come up with a crazy way to photograph her family since they have a crazy family!  This year we thought they needed bribes to sit still and be in a family photo.  It worked!  And I think we got some great images.

Here are the twins (I know they look nothing alike, but they are twins!)

 This is Elizabeth.  I think in the first photo it looks like she is saying "Don't take my lollipop!"

Baby Myah

What a cutie!  Sparkling brown eyes and chubby cheeks!  But she was not very happy to be in the cold.  She did really well regardless and we had fun.  Next time we will try for warmer weather!

Katie Maternity

This is one of my best friends, Katie.  It took some convincing to get her to do maternity pictures, but I am so glad she let me.  Not only is she always beautiful, she is especially glowing while pregnant.  She is due in just a few days and I can't wait to meet this long awaited baby girl.  Here are some of our favorite shots.
