January/February Special - It's COLD Outside!

Brrrr!  It is very cold outside, and with no leaves on trees and no more snow on the ground (at least at the moment I am writing this...) it doesn't make for the prettiest of pictures.  That is why I am bringing it indoors! 

For the months of January and February you can book a headshot session to capture the quirky personality of your little ones!  A one hour session and cd of all edited images, including a digital collage created by me (similar to the ones below) for only *$100!!!

*Limit of 2 children for one hour, each additional child is only $10.  (Sessions can be scheduled either in my home or yours.)

Z Turned One!

When we first adopted Z we took a picture of her in our bookcase, a picture I had been dreaming of for a long time.  Here is Z at 1, again in our bookcase. Oh, how I love my beautiful little girl!

Maltianna's Maternity Session

Maltianna and her husband Keith are expecting their first baby in February.  What a cute family!  Congratulations and thanks for letting me be a part of the memories.

One more of the Bairds

I just had to post this picture of Preston and Jefferson.  It makes me laugh so hard to see the look of complete skepticism on their faces.  They are so adorable!

Ava

What a cutie!  Chubby, happy, sweet as can be!  I love her expressions and the way she sucks in her bottom lip.  This was a fun session!

The Baird Boys

I had the most fun photographing Jefferson and Preston Baird!  They are such boys, and they are adorable! They both have so much personality, they hammed it up for the camera and we had a blast. My favorite is the one of them together, they look very GQ.

Sheneman Family

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday my brother and his wife came to visit us here in Virginia.  I got to photograph their cute family.  Here are some of the pictures of their kids, DJ, Ethan, and Kate.  All of them are so cute and have such unique personalities.

McCormick Family

Last week I was able to photograph the very beautiful McCormick Family at the National Cathedral.  It was a little chilly but we had beautiful lighting.  It was a pleasure to photograph their family!

Nicholas Reich

One thing I love about the fall is seeing Nicholas again!  I have photographed Nicholas since he was only a year old.  His mom, Vera, and I used to work together and we have made this a tradition every year since we met.  Usually Vera's mom comes from Austria to join in the photo shoot but this year her trip was planned for the spring instead so I missed her.  But I still photograph Nicholas and got see how big he is getting. 

Every year his personality gets bigger and bigger!  What a handsome little boy!

Jack Thompson and Family

Meet Jack Thompson!!! He is the very handsome son of Erica and Peter Thompson. This is the second time I have gotten to photograph the Thompson family and I have to say that Jack just keeps getting cuter each time! He is such a big boy and has the most beautiful color eyes! And all together, they make a beautiful family.

Favorites of "Z"

"Z" is the nickname I gave my daughter. She is the joy of my life and so much fun to photograph. Whenever I have time or feel the inclination to try something new, play dress up, or capture a new phase of her life, I grab the camera and off we go!

Lines Family

This is the third year I have photographed the Lines Family (and I think my favorite session with them!). I look forward to each Fall Season when I will get to see how each of them has grown up. Each year they are more fun, easier to photograph and even cuter!

Andersons - Sydney, Brynn, and Claire

This is another one of my good friends, Mindy, and her girls from Logan. I remember photographing Sydney as a baby with my little 35mm film camera. I loved those days of black and white on film. Nothing beats it, sorry digital!

Since then Mindy and her husband Shawn have added a few more girls to the mix, and I have been able to photograph each of them as a baby. Each time I visit Utah, we try to squeeze in a little time to photograph and catch up on old times. Here is our recent photo shoot. I love that each of her girls has a unique look to them but still look like sisters.

Here is Sydney. She is so spunky and I love her strawberry blond hair and her freckles. But I still see her as the tiny little baby she used to be! I can't believe how big she is now!

This is Claire. She is so adorable, not to mention stubborn! She wouldn't sit for any group shots, but she gave me some cute looks for her individuals. I love her little innocent face, such a great disguise!

Here is Brynn. She is going to be trouble! She knows how to pose and smile in a way that will melt the coldest heart! I love her!

Andersons - Derek and Cassie

I have known Cassie and Derek Anderson for many years. We became good friends when we lived in Logan, Utah. Derek and my husband, Nicholas, worked at the same jewelry store together. Since then, they moved to California then back to Utah. We have moved to Virginia but we have kept in contact.

This is the first time I have been able to photograph their family! Their family is so cute, I love Joshua's mischevious little face and Katelyn's beautiful blue eyes!
